About carboliq
carboliq GmbH builds and operates plants for the oil extraction of high-calorific waste. The process used is robust and can be applied to mixed and contaminated plastic waste. The continuous operation of a pilot plant at the waste disposal centre in Ennigerloh demonstrates the high technical maturity of the technology (TRL8). Waste that was previously only thermally recoverable is now liquefied on an industrial scale. The oil is in demand by the petrochemical industry as a ‘circular resource’ and is used as a raw material for the production of high-quality plastics. With the support of SÜDPACK, the plant technology is currently being scaled up. The company is based in Remscheid.
