Mass and energy balances in the test campaign<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Detailed mass and energy balances are available for chemical recycling using the carboliq process. They are based on data collected during defined test periods of at least 72 hours under continuous plant operation. The results are included in the final report for each customer-commissioned test campaign. All data and evaluations remain the property of carboliq.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To determine the balance data, the initial and final masses of the substances in the various units are determined based on the fill levels of the vessels and assigned to a specific substance. These masses are then used to calculate the corresponding substance quantities and enthalpy values, based on molar masses, CHNO analyses, and calorific values. A sample report can be provided upon request, subject to a signed non-disclosure and non-circumvention agreement (NDA).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Real-world examples from our test campaigns<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

S\u00dcDPACK<\/a> is one of the leading manufacturers of high-performance films for the packaging industry. The company’s multi-layer films have already been successfully liquefied in innovative projects. Film waste from dual systems and municipal waste has also proven to be very well suited for the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While these materials were unsuitable for mechanical recycling, chemical recycling enabled the recovery of high-quality recyclates for use in the production of new plastics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
